Key responsibilities of the position:

Process Design:
• Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs) and detailed engineering drawings for odor control and renewable natural gas facilities.
• Conduct process simulations to analyze performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Calculate equipment sizing for vessels, pumps, pipes, and other process units.
• Design and select appropriate separation and other processing equipment based on project requirements.

Operational Support:
• Monitor and analyze operational data to identify performance issues and potential safety hazards.
• Troubleshoot process problems and implement corrective actions in odor control/desulphurization and gas upgrading to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.
• Provide technical support to operations teams during production phases.
• Creating detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), project submittals, work instructions, O&M manuals, guidelines, maintain data sheets, and process specifications.

Project Development:
• Participate in pre-bid meetings with customers and engineers.
• Participate in feasibility studies and project planning stages.
• Develop cost estimates and project schedules for process engineering aspects.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil, structural) to ensure project integration.

Safety and Environmental Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
• Identify and mitigate potential safety risks associated with process design.
• Develop and implement safety procedures for process operations.

Requisitos

· Local to Utah- Hybrid position.

· Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.

· Experience in AUTOCAD.

· Membrane experience a PLUS.

· Structural Engineering is a PLUS or has worked under a Structural Engineer for 5 years and can obtain a stamp within 6 months of hire.

· Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mass transfer principles.

· Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).

· Experience with process design calculations and equipment sizing.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

· Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for wastewater, water, oil, gas, and renewable fuels, and construction.
